We are urging people to be cautious after a quantity of morphine was reported lost from an ambulance in Liverpool today, Tuesday 11 June.
A phial of morphine was reported missing from the ambulance on Lace Street, in Islington.
Officers are reminding people that taking any medication which has not been prescribed for them can be dangerous and, in some circumstances, can prove fatal.
Anyone who finds the medication is asked to hand it in to any pharmacy or police station or contact officers via @MerPolCC or the 101 number quoting log 452 of 11 June.
