We have arrested a man on suspicion of drug supply offences following an incident in New Brighton last night, Thursday 6 June.
Just before midnight, officers attended an address in Sidney Avenue in relation to a wanted man. A man was located at the scene, and a large quantity of suspected cocaine and cannabis was seized. Other suspected drug supply paraphernalia was also found. Officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries.
A 48-year-old man from New Brighton was arrested on suspicion of Production of Class A drugs, and Possession with intent to supply Class A and Class B drugs. He remains in custody for questioning.
