A man arrested in Huyton has been charged with sexual communications with a child.
Graham Dempsey, 53 years, of Hurst Park Drive, Huyton was arrested on 26 June and later charged with attempting to engage in sexual communication with a child, arranging/facilitating the commission of a sex offence (sexual assault of a child), engaging in sexual communication with a child and possession of a Class B controlled drug (cannabis).
He was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Friday 28 June where he was further remanded to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 26 July.
