A teenage male has been arrested after drugs and cash were found in Upton.
On Wednesday 12 June officers sighted a silver Volkswagen on Arrowe Park Road and a male got out of the car then made off towards Arrowe Brook Road. Officers pursued on foot and he was caught in the garden of a property on Mavis Drive.
He was found to have a large amount of cannabis and more than £1,000 in his possession.
A further search was carried out at an address where a large amount of cannabis and drugs paraphernalia were seized.
A 17-year-old male from Egremont was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class B drug, cannabis, possession of criminal property and criminal damage to property under £5,000. He is still in police custody to be questioned.
