We have arrested three people on suspicion of going equipped for theft.
Matrix officers on patrol in the Croxteth area at around 9.30pm last night, Monday 3 June, saw a Seat Leon travelling along Altcross Road. The car was stopped and searched and a device, which could be used in the theft of motor vehicles, was recovered.
A 17-year-old male, a 22-year-old man and a 30 year-old man, all from the Liverpool area, were arrested on suspicion of going equipped for theft.
They are all currently in custody.
