We are appealing for information after it was reported Asda in Aintree was broken into in the early hours of today (Monday 1 April).
It was reported at just before 1am that three offenders had forced entry into the Ormskirk Road store at around 12.30am, damaging shutters and glass. It has not been confirmed if anything was taken.
The three offenders were described as wearing balaclavas and dark clothing, and made off on e-bikes
Detective Inspector Paula Jones said: “To target any place where people live or work in our community is disgraceful and our officers are determined to find the three males responsible.
“We are conducting a forensic examination of the scene and studying CCTV in the area. If you were in the vicinity of Asda in Aintree at around 12.30-1am on Monday, or were driving nearby hand have dashcam, please get in touch.”
