We are appealing for information following an incident of criminal damage in Croxteth in the early hours of yesterday, Sunday 3 March.
At around 12.15am, officers were called to Carr Lane East to reports of a BMW being driven into a property, causing damage.
Detective Inspector Chris Carlin said: “Our enquiries are ongoing but it is initially believed that the car was deliberately driven into the house.
“This was an extremely reckless act and could have caused serious injuries to anyone inside.
“If you live nearby or were passing please let us know, especially if you saw anyone making off from the street on foot or vehicles. We are determined to find those responsible and your information could be key.”
Anyone who witnessed the incident or captured anything on CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage is asked to contact @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 with reference 24000221688.
