We are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary in West Derby on Tuesday 6 February.
At around 6.10pm, it was reported that two males broke into a home off Snowberry Road and threatened a male occupier with a knife.
The males then stole an unknown quantity of cash and a watch before leaving the property.
Thankfully, the victim was unharmed, but he was left extremely distressed by the incident.
An investigation is underway and house-to-house, CCTV and forensic enquiries are being carried out in the local area.
The first suspect is described as a white male, around 5ft 7in tall and he was wearing a black jacket with his hood up.
The second male was described as a white male, around 6ft tall, had a stocky build and he was also wearing a black jacket with the hood up and a baseball cap.
Detective Sergeant Steve Byrom said: “This was a shocking incident in which a man was threatened during a burglary in his own home.
“This would have been extremely traumatic for the victim. Thankfully incidents such as this are very rare, but we are committed to finding the people responsible and bringing them to justice.
“We are determined to make sure that the cowardly actions of these two men don’t go unpunished. If you have any information about this incident, or live in the area and have CCTV cameras, please check them to see if you captured anything significant.
“Similarly, if you were driving in the area at around the time of the incident, please review your dashcam footage.”
