Officers have arrested a man for suspected drugs supply in Knowsley.
On Tuesday 30 January, officers attended an address in Halewood and a man was sighted throwing a large ball of white powder from the window.
Following a search suspected drugs and drugs paraphernalia were found.
A 30-year-old man from Halewood was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A and B drug, cocaine and cannabis, and acquire/use/possess criminal property. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
Community Policing Inspector Andy Robinson said: “Stop searches, warrants, land searches and arrests take place all year round, and in many instances it is thanks to the public who tell us where there are issues in the community.
“We urge people to come forward with information and intelligence by either contacting us or anonymously through Crimestoppers so we can act.
“If you have criminality in your area let us know and we will take action.”
If you have any information on the possession of, storage or use of drugs and weapons in your community, please contact our social media desk on Twitter @MerPolCC or Facebook ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’.
