Detectives have charged a man with murder following an incident in Liverpool earlier this month.
At around 5.40pm on Saturday 10 February, officers were called to an address on Midghall Street to reports of a domestic assault.
The victim, Brian Cullen, 73, was found with serious injuries. He sadly passed away in hospital. Brian's family is being supported by specialist officers as our investigation continues.
Ryan Cullen, 34, of no fixed abode, has now been charged with Murder and Criminal damage.
He will appear at South Sefton Magistrates Court today, Monday 26 February.
