We are appealing for information after a suspected arson at a community project in Wallasey yesterday, Thursday 2 May.
At around 4am, a report was received of a fire at Earth Moves ecological gardens on Telegraph Lane, resulting in significant damage to an outdoor building with gazebo. MFRS attended.
Community Policing Inspector Nicola Hughes said: "This incident has caused significant distress, inconvenience and impact to the activities of this really important community project.
"At this stage, the cause of the fire is unconfirmed but if you have any information or saw anything suspicious in the area please let us know and we will take action."
