Officers have arrested a man and charged a man and seized a scrambler bike following an incident in St Helens on Sunday, 5 May.
At around 4.05pm, officers were called to Sutton Park to reports of scrambler bikes and scooters being ridden dangerously in the area.
Following a brief pursuit, tactical contact was made with one of the bikes on Waterdale Crescent and a male was detained.
Declan Leyland, 21, of Sherlock Avenue, Haydock was charged with Dangerous driving; Driving without a licence; Driving without insurance; and Fail to stop.
He will next appear at Liverpool, Knowsley and St Helens Magistrates Court, Derby Square on Tuesday 11 June.
