A man has been charged with robbery after a woman was robbed of cash she had just withdrawn from an ATM in Liverpool city centre.
The incident happened at 8pm on 7 May at a cash machine on Brownlow Hill when the offender pushed the 22-year-old woman’s hand away as she was about to retrieve £100 and took it himself.
Following witness and CCTV enquiries, Gavin Carr, 26 years, of no fixed address was arrested and charged with robbery.
He has been remanded into custody the appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Monday 20 May).
