We have charged a Sefton man with being concerned in the supply of cocaine.
Ian Johnson, 44, of Trinity Road, Bootle, has also been charged with acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
The charges came after Matrix officers stopped a car on Queens Drive, Walton, at 8.20pm on Sunday 26 May. Searches were carried out of the car and a property and a quantity of cash and wraps of white powder were recovered.
Johnson was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral adult remand court today, Tuesday 28 May.
A 41-year-old woman arrested on suspicion of acquiring/using/possessing criminal property has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
