We have now arrested a total of 150 people in connection with violent disorder in Southport and Liverpool.
A 31 year-old man from Bangor, North Wales, was arrested on suspicion of Violent Disorder (Liverpool) and released on bail pending further enquiries.
A 35 year-old man from Wigan was arrested on suspicion of Violent Disorder (Southport) and is currently in custody.
The total number of people arrested now stands at 150, with 104 charged and 80 people sentenced to 165 years and three months.
