We have issued CCTV images of a man who we want to trace following an assault in a bar in Liverpool city centre.
At around 11.50pm on Friday 18 October a 29-year-old man was in the Remeniss bar on Mathew Street when he was punched in the face by another man suffering fractures to his cheek and nose.
An investigation is underway and CCTV and witness enquiries carried out.
We have also issued CCTV images of a man who we believe could assist with our investigation.
Detective Inspector Neil Dillon said: “This was a nasty and unprovoked assault on a man who suffered significant injuries to his face.
“I would appeal to anyone who was in the Remeniss bar on the evening of 18 October who witnessed anything or anyone who recognises the man pictured to contact us as a matter of urgency.”
Anyone with information is asked to DM @MerPolCC or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting reference 24000892068.
