We are issuing CCTV images of a man who may have information following a robbery at a convenience store in Childwall.
At around 10.20pm on Thursday 14 November, an offender entered Food and Wine on Hartsbourne Avenue and made demands for cash. A knife was mentioned but not seen. Cash was stolen.
Detective Inspector Michael Fletcher said: “This would have been a frightening experience for the shopkeeper and we are determined to find the person responsible and bring them before the courts.
“It is disgraceful to see a shopkeeper threatened when carrying out their business in our communities, and we will respond to all information provided and continue to work closely with businesses and partners to investigate such crimes.
“The man pictured may have information so if you know him, please come forward. Likewise, if you were in the area or passing by at the time and witnessed or captured anything, let us know.”
