Detectives investigating the murder of Paul Foster, who was fatally stabbed at a house in West Derby on 15 October, have arrested five people.
A series of warrants were carried out at addresses on Merseyside this morning, Tuesday 19 November.
Those arrested, who are all from the Liverpool area, are:
Detective Chief Inspector Steve McGrath said: “Our investigations into Paul’s death continues.
“We are still appealing for people who saw or heard something suspicious to please come forward as a matter of urgency.
“I ask those who live in the area of Muirhead Avenue to please check your CCTV or doorbell footage to see if it has captured anything which could assist our enquiries.
“Muirhead Avenue is a busy main road, so if you were driving past at around the time of the incident, please review your dashcam footage and let us know if you see anything.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, or who has information which could help us with our inquiries, is asked to DM @MerPolCC, message ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre on Facebook’ with reference 24000877985.
