We have arrested three men and one woman in Dovecot on suspicion of drugs offences.
Officers from EVOLVE Liverpool-Knowsley executed a warrant at a house on Lynsted Road on November 6, 2024 and discovered a quantity of cannabis and drug-related paraphernalia which were subsequently seized.
Three men aged 21 and 23 from Dovecot and a 28-year-old man from Huyton along with a 46-year-old woman from Dovecot were arrested on suspicion of possession of a Class B drug with intent to supply and possession of criminal property.
The four were taken to a police station in Merseyside for questioning and released pending further investigation.
Superintendent Tony Fairhurst said: “Drugs bring misery to our communities and we are dedicated to taking drugs, and those involved in drug-related activity off our streets.
“We are also committed in seeking help for those who are addicted to drugs to help bring an end to this cycle.
“We urge anyone with any information about drug-related activity to call us, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, so we can take action against those responsible and get help for those in need.”
EVOLVE Liverpool-Knowsley is one of three Clear, Hold, Build multi-partnership operations currently taking place across Merseyside with the aim of dismantling gangs and improving neighbourhoods for generations to come.
