We have arrested a 24-year-old man on suspicion of possession of prohibited ammunition, possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and dangerous driving.
At around 3.45pm yesterday, Wednesday 6 November, officers on patrol spotted a man riding a KTM off-road motorcycle on Linacre Lane in Bootle. The motorcycle failed to stop and was then seen being ridden in a dangerous manner, at high speed and mounting pavements, causing pedestrians to jump out of the way.
The bike was abandoned on Hornby Boulevard and the male was traced to an address in Litherland. Officers attended the address and forced entry.
A 24-year-old man was found inside the property and arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, failing to stop and licence and insurance offences.
Following a search of the property a large quantity of white powder was found together with a live round of ammunition. The man was further arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine) and possession of ammunition.
A 28-year-old man and a 28 year-old woman were also arrested on suspicion of possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate and suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (cocaine)
