Man, 36, charged with two counts of rape

We have charged a 36-year-old man from Halewood with two counts of rape.

David Twigg, of Markfield Crescent, was remanded into custody until Friday 6 December. The charges follow a report that a female was raped at a property in the Halewood area in September.
