A 20-year-old man has been charged as part of ongoing work to tackle county lines drug dealing.
Yesterday (Monday 11 November), officers from Project Medusa’s County Lines Task Force arrested Shaun Connolly, 20, of Moscow Drive, Tuebrook.
Officers seized a zombie knife and cocaine following a search at his address.
Connolly has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply cocaine and possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Tuesday 12 November).
Project Medusa is the Merseyside-led initiative to tackle county lines drug dealing and criminal exploitation across the country.
This week, Merseyside Police are taking part in Sceptre, the national week of action targeting knife crime.
