Detectives have charged a man with multiple offences following an incident in Netherton on Saturday, 23 November.
At around 5.50pm, we received a report that a man entered a shop on Park Lane and assaulted two men.
Emergency services attended the scene and a 47-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of section 18 causing grievous bodily harm.
One of the victims sustained a facial injury and the other sustained an arm injury.
Andrew Kelley, 47, of Fulwood Drive, Aigburth has now been charged with the following offences:
Two counts of Section 18 wounding with intent
Two counts of Threats to kill
Criminal damage
Kelley appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Monday 25 November. He has been remanded in custody to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 23 December.
