We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision in Kirkby involving a motorcyclist and a car on Thursday 17 October.
The collision occurred at around 5.20pm at the junction of Britonside Avenue and Redhill Avenue. The driver of the car stopped at the scene.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30's, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital .
We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV, doorbell, and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
Officer in charge of the investigation, Constable Gareth Milbourne, said: “This was a serious collision and we’re keen to speak to any witnesses.
“The motorcyclist was thrown some distance following the collision and suffered serious injuries.
“The incident happened at a time where there would have been numerous people around who may have seen what happened and any information no matter how small could help the investigation.
“If you were passing the location and saw or captured the incident on CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage then please share this with us."
