We are appealing for information following serious road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Old Swan this morning, Wednesday 16 October.
At around 9.40am, we received a report of a collision involving a black BMW and a woman at Tesco car park on St Oswald Street.
The pedestrian, an 89-year-old woman, sustained serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment.
The driver, a 37-year-old woman stopped at the scene and has been arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and will be questioned later today.
