Detectives are appealing for information following a supermarket burglary in St Helens in the early hours of Sunday 8 September.
At around 4.05am, officers were called to Morrisons on Fleet Lane, Parr to reports of access being gained and cash and cigarettes being stolen.
A silver Ford Transit minivan was forensically recovered at the scene.
CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are being carried out and detectives are appealing to anyone with information to come forward.
Detective Inspector Richard Shillito said: "We are following a number of lines of enquiry to identify those involved and put them before the courts.
“If you saw this vehicle in the area shortly before 4am or live locally and can check CCTV, dashcam or other devices, please let us know. The smallest detail could prove vital evidence so let us make that assessment.”
