Detectives have charged a man with drug supply offences following an incident in Bromborough on Monday, 9 September.
At around 10.45am, officers observed a man in suspicious circumstances on The Avenue. He attempted to run off towards The Rake, before being chased on foot and detained on Ashfield Road. Suspected Class A drugs were seized.
Hayden Owens, 19, of Market Street, Birkenhead has now been charged with Possession with intent to supply heroin and cocaine.
Owens was remanded in custody and will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court this morning, Wednesday 11 September.
