Today (Thursday 26 September), Detectives have charged a male and arrested a man in connection with violent disorder that took place in Walton on Saturday 3 August.
A 16-year-old boy from Walton (who cannot be named for legal reasons) was charged with violent disorder and theft. He will appear in court today.
A 37-year-old man from Walton has been arrested on suspicion of violent disorder. He is in police custody to be questioned.
The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 115, with 76 charged and 55 sentenced to a combined 116 years and 4 months.
