A man has been charged with a number of offences that have been committed in the past few months in the Tuebrook area.
Officers from Operation Assure led an investigation into burglary offences committed in Liverpool between June to September this year from properties on Green Lane, Ellel Grove, Belmont Road in Anfield, and Swiss Road in Kensington.
Li Chean, 33 years, of Gardener Road, Tuebrook has been charged with a total of nine offences including burglary, fraud, theft from a shop, criminal damage, assault and handling stolen goods.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court for sentencing.
Detective Sergeant Hannah Noakes of Operation Assure said: “We take all reports of burglary extremely seriously and we have specialist officers who are able to investigate this form of criminality.
“Burglaries can have a massive and long-lasting impact on the person and families affected as they have had their home invaded which is an awful experience to go through.
“If you have any information about a burglary in your community, please get in touch.”
