Detectives have charged a man with domestic abuse and firearms offences following an incident in Bootle yesterday, Sunday 15 September.
At around 1.30pm, officers were called to reports of a domestic incident at a premises on Stanley Road. During enquiries, a firearm was found, which is initially believed to be a blank-firing handgun.
Scott Berry, 32, of no fixed abode has now been charged with the following offences:
• Two counts of Threats to kill
• Three counts of Assault by beating
• Possess an offensive weapon in private.
• Possess an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
Berry has been remanded in custody to appear tomorrow, Tuesday 15 September, at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court, Derby Square, Liverpool.
