We can confirm that a man sadly died following a collision in Pensby on Friday (27 September).
At around 1.25pm, we were called to Pensby Road to reports a Mercedes car had collided with a tree. The driver, a man in his 70s, is believed to have suffered a medical episode at the wheel.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but despite the efforts of medical professions, was sadly pronounced deceased a short time later.
