Three men charged in connection with violent disorder in Merseyside

Detectives investigating violent disorder in Merseyside have charged a further three men from the North West.

• Michael Porter, 40 years, of Stanley Road, Bootle, has been charged with violent disorder in Liverpool
• Daniel Busuttil, 33 years, of no fixed abode, has been charged with violent disorder in Southport
• Robbie Johnson, 28 years, of Norfolk Street, Wigan has been charged with violent disorder in Southport

They have been remanded in custody to appear at court today, Tuesday 24 September.

The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 113, with 75 charged and 55 sentenced to a combined 116 years and 4 months.
