We have charged a 21-year-old woman following violent disorder in Southport.
Ellie Clarke, of Chestnut Street, Southport was charged with violent disorder, assault emergency worker and an offence under s4a of the public order act - racially/religiously aggravated intentional harrassment/alarm/distress.
She was remanded into custody to appear in court today, Wednesday 4 September.
The total of people arrested by Merseyside Police has now reached 93, with 59 charged and 41 sentenced.
