We are appealing for information following a reported hate crime in Knowsley yesterday, Sunday 16 February.
Officers received multiple reports at around 12.30pm that eight men were stood on the bridge above the M62, near the roundabout at Junction 5, holding banners, some of them allegedly racist.
Officers attended the scene, but the men had left.
If you were driving past this area at around this time and have dashcam footage, or you saw what happened, please come forward as your information could assist our ongoing inquiries.
