We are appealing for information after a young girl was hit in the face by a bottle thrown from the away section at Goodison Park following Everton’s match against Leicester City on Saturday 1 February.
The incident occurred at the end of the game and the six-year-old girl was uninjured but understandably left distressed by what happened.
Our enquiries are ongoing and we are working with both clubs to identify the person responsible.
If you were at the match and witnessed the incident or have any information, you can call 101 or DM @MerPolCC on social media, quoting reference number 25000087039.
