We can confirm that emergency services are in Liverpool City Centre following a collision this evening, Monday 3 February.
At around 7.30pm, officers were called to the junction of London Road and Norton Street to reports of a collision involving an Audi and a male cyclist. The cyclist sustained a serious ankle injury and has been taken to hospital.
Enquiries are ongoing and a road closure is in place on London Road/Norton Street out of the city and one lane into the city.
