Detectives have arrested and charged two more people in connection with Violent Disorder in Merseyside last summer.
A 22-year-old man from Wigan was arrested yesterday (Wednesday 5 February) on suspicion of Violent Disorder and Assault by beating of an emergency worker in Southport. He has been bailed until April.
A 17-year-old boy from Walton, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with Violent Disorder and Burglary other at a store in Walton.
The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 172, with 131 charged and 107 sentenced to a combined 210 years and four months in prison.
