Detectives from our Economic Interventions Team (ECT) have charged a Leeds man as part of an ongoing investigation into courier fraud.
Gavin Butters, 27, from Kentmere Gate, Seacroft was arrested on Tuesday.
He has now been charged with the following offences:
Four counts of Fraud by false representation
Impersonating a police officer
Butters was remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Thursday 13 February. He has been further remanded in custody to next appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 13 March.
