A Merseyside man has been charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin).
Neil Kettle, 36, of no fixed abode, but originally from the Huyton area, was arrested in the Netherlands on 25 January and returned to the UK
He was arrested by Matrix officers from Merseyside Police at Heathrow Airport on Friday, 14 February.
He has been charged with conspiring to supply Class A drugs (cocaine and heroin), conspiring to supply Class B controlled drugs (amphetamine and cannabis) and conspiring to conceal/disguise/convert/transfer/remove criminal property.
Kettle was remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on 17 March.
Detective Inspector James Boardman said: “We leave no stone unturned when it comes to tracking down suspects. When we have evidence of their whereabouts, even overseas, we will work with international partners to locate and arrest them and bring them back to the United Kingdom.
“Community intelligence is always key to the work that we do, and I would continue to ask the public to be our eyes and ears.
“If you have information about drug dealing or any other criminality in your community please pass on that information so we can take positive action.”
