We are appealing for information following a burglary in Hoylake earlier this month.
At some point between Wednesday 8 January and Monday 13 January, someone broke into a property on Sandringham Avenue and stole two expensive mountain bikes.
One of the bikes (see image above) is distinctive and we are appealing for anyone who is aware of this being sold or used in the area to please get in touch.
Detective Constable Amy Patton said: “Our enquiries are ongoing into the burglary and we are releasing an image of one of the stolen bikes in the hope it can lead to information.
“If you recognise this bike and see it being used in the community, please let us know. Similarly, if you spot it being sold online, get in touch because it could be the same bike that was stolen during this incident.
“Burglaries can have a huge impact on victims and it’s an offence that we take extremely seriously in Merseyside.”
Anyone with information on this incident is asked to contact us @MerPolCC on Twitter, ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook or ring 101 with reference 25000031951.
