CCTV image appeal after city centre assault

Detectives are releasing a CCTV image of a man who may be able to assist enquiries into an assault at a bar in Liverpool city centre.

 

The 20-year-old was attacked in Bar Bar Night Club on Fleet Street at around 2am on Sunday November 10, 2024.

 

The victim was out with friends and while leaving the club, a man punched him several times in the face. He fell to the floor where the suspect kicked him in the face and head.

 

The 20-year-old sustained several face fractures which required hospital treatment.

 

Detective Constable Jan Lea said: “The victim has sustained serious injuries which have left him in pain and worried about going out.

 

“We are appealing for witnesses and have released CCTV images of a man we believe could have information that could help our enquiries into this attack.

 

“I would also urge anyone else who has information on the assault to please come forward and help with our enquiries.”
