The family of a man who died following a road traffic collision in Wavertree have issued a tribute and photograph.
John Furness, 71, died on 29 November 2024 following a road traffic collision at the junction of Rathbone Road and Wellington Road a week earlier, Friday, November 22.
Mr Furness' family have now issued the following tribute:
In loving memory of our dad, John Furness.
Our dad, our hero. He was so adventurous, he loved the outdoors and he made the best memories with all of his grandkids in Wales. Truly loved by all of his family and friends. Our hearts are broken, we can’t believe we will never see our beautiful dad again.
He was a true inspiration to us all and his memory will live on forever in our hearts. We have been truly touched by the amount of tributes from family and friends, thank you for your help and support through these difficult times.
Special thankyou to Gill for the care she gave our dad in his final days.
