We are investigating after a van containing a quantity of veterinary drugs was stolen from the Woolton area this morning, Sunday 12 January.
We received a report that a grey coloured Volkswagen Transporter, with a 73 plate, had been stolen from outside St Peter’s Church on Church Road between 8am and 8.50am.
A quantity of veterinary drugs including Somulose, opioids and sedatives were inside the van, which could potentially be dangerous to human beings.
CCTV and witness enquiries to trace the van remain ongoing.
Anyone who finds this medication or any other prescription drugs is warned not to consume them and instead hand them into their nearest police station immediately or call 101.
Any information about the theft of the van, or its whereabouts, should by passed to Merseyside Police on 101, by DM @MerPolCC or by contacting Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 quoting log 213 of 12 January.
