We have arrested a man on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle and vehicle interference.
We were contacted at just before 3.30am today, Monday 6 January, to reports of two males breaking into vehicles in the area of Sheppard Avenue in Roby.
Officers attended and PD Ike and handler pursued a male through the snow before locating a bank card under a plank of wood. The card was later confirmed as having been stolen from a motor vehicle.
PD Ike then continued tracking to the rear gardens of Sandbrook Road before locating a male in the garden of a house.
A 34-year-old man from the Kensington area was arrested on suspicion of theft from a motor vehicle x 2 and vehicle interference.
