A man has been charged after a large quantity of suspected heroin was seized in north Liverpool.
The driver of a silver BMW was stopped on Houlgrave Road and following a search of the vehicle, ten packages of suspected heroin were found inside a bag.
Faisal Hamed, 39, of Blair Athol Road, in Sheffield, has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug (heroin).
He is due to appear at Sefton Magistrates’ Court today, Monday 13 January.
