A man has been charged after crack cocaine and heroin were found in a stolen Land Rover and BMW discovered in Toxteth on Saturday 4 January.
Officers attended Earle Road at around 3.30pm as part of an investigation into drug supply, and searched the vehicles. Inside they found the drugs as well as a Taser/stun gun.
Leroy Paul Parris, 41 years, of Carter Street, was arrested at the scene and later charged with being concerned in the supply of heroin, crack cocaine, and possession with intent to supply a Class A controlled drugs (crack cocaine and heroin).
He was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Monday 6 January).
The arrest came as part of our ongoing Operation Toxic which is part of Project Medusa - a Merseyside-led initiative set up to tackle suspected County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation across the country.
Detective Sergeant Kieran Connolly said: “Drug dealing gangs have a complete disregard for vulnerable people in our communities.
"We know the devastation drug addiction can cause and we are relentless in our efforts to put offenders before the courts and take the drugs they peddle out of circulation.”
