Today, Wednesday 29 January, detectives have arrested and charged a man in connection with incidents of violent disorder in Walton last August.
Adam Stevenson, 48 years, of Bardsay Road in Walton has been charged with violent disorder Violent Disorder, Burglary Other than a dwelling, Arson with recklessness as to whether life was endangered.
He has been bailed with conditions and will next attend Liverpool Magistrates Court on Wednesday 26 March.
The total number of people arrested for disorder in Merseyside now stands at 171, with 129 charged and 105 people sentenced to a combined 205 years and four months in prison.
