Detectives investigating Violent Disorder in Merseyside have charged two more men.
Jack Mason, 31, of Grasmere Avenue, St Helens, was charged with Violent Disorder in Liverpool City Centre and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Thursday, 9 January.
Michael Rimmer, 25, of Wavell Avenue, Southport, was charged with Violent Disorder in Southport and Possession of cocaine. He has been bailed to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Thursday 16 January.
The total number of people arrested by Merseyside Police has now reached 163, with 121 charged and 89 sentenced to a total of 182 years and four months.
