A woman was arrested following a disturbance at Liverpool John Lennon Airport on Saturday 11 January.
At around 10.40pm it was reported that two passengers were being verbally aggressive to Border Force officers while going through passport control.
A 49-year-old woman from Walton was arrested on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.
While being taken into custody it was reported that homophobic comments were made, and she was further arrested on suspicion of two counts of using threatening/abusive/ insulting words/behaviour to cause harassment/alarm/distress.
She has been released under investigation pending further enquires being carried out.
