Police have charged a man in connection with a robbery in Birkenhead.
On Sunday, May 11 we were called to a report of a robbery on Argyle Street where a man was assaulted by three men and had his headphones stolen.
The victim suffered injuries to his face and hand.
Dayton Smith, 18 years, of Jackson Close in Higher Bebington has been charged with robbery and appeared at Liverpool Youth Magistrates Court this morning. He has been remanded into custody until his next at court hearing at a later date.
A 17-year-old male was also arrested in connection with the incident. He has been released on police bail with conditions.
